About Me
My name is Pedro Henry and I currently reside in the state of Florida. I am incredibly passionate about instructional design and learning new ways to improve my instructional and digital designing skills.
I currently work in the Customer Experience Training Team at Boar's Head as an Elearning Specialist designing training materials for all employees.
I graduated from USF with my Bachelor's in Business Marketing and my Master's in Higher Education. I recently completed my Master's in Learning, Design, and Technology at the University of South Florida in December 2021.

Design and develop content for different infographics to distribute to other campus partners, to display yearly accomplishments, and office website
Manage design and data collection related projects regarding timelines, expectations, and priorities, in addition to managing 2 graduate assistants who were responsible for completing associated projects
Facilitate interactive and informative different workshops (average 25-30 students) targeted at increasing campus-wide awareness of academic policies and explain strategies to successfully progress in their collegiate career
Analyze weekly data reports on 50 - 200 students who require assistance with withdrawing from their classes and streamlined the processing system for outreach using the data analysis model
Manage over 80 at-risk student cases through a variety of student-related platforms (Archivum, Insights, Banner 9, Civitas, and Degree Works) with academic holds. To provide early intervention efforts to strengthen retention rates towards graduation

Coached an average of 25 first-year students per semester about utilizing on-campus support resources, time management strategies, and organization methods that will allow them to effectively perform well in the classroom
Created new academic support resources (Studying, Wellness, Finance) for students to utilize during their first year who identified as being in academic distress. Dance Marathon and Leadership Program Coordinator, Center for Leadership & Service
Supervised a group of 40 undergraduate students and I oversaw 10 different fundraising programming events to bring awareness for the Miami Children’s Hospital and to invite attendees to Dance Marathon
Oversaw planning, budget, operations, and facilitations on a 24-hour fundraising event called Dance Marathon that held over 200 attendees and raised over $47,000 for the Miami Children’s hospital
Managed a $5,000 yearly budget for student fundraising programming and Dance Marathon event planning
Educated 20 - 25 student-athletes each semester in the Academy of Leaders program, which focused on developing high-level leadership skill sets to utilize during their athletic and classroom involvement. I facilitated a biweekly lecture every semester with the student-athletes, and at the end, they use the skills they achieved by having an end of the semester community service project.
Supervised the AmeriCorps Volunteers in Service to America (VISTA) employee responsible for oversight of the planning of volunteer fair where students are provided with opportunities to volunteer in their community. There were 30 different Miami community vendors where students could take opportunities to volunteer

Supervised 15 student employees responsible for facilitating operations and management processes for more than 900 events each year held in the university student union building (MSC)
Trained staff of 6 students using yearly retreats I facilitated, and creating rules and regulations manual to facilitate Bull Market, a weekly fair consisting on average of 50 community vendors and student organizations through live training and job aids (electronic manuals)
Created a student employee training & safety operations manual that included topics such as standards of service, daily protocols/procedures, scheduling, training programs, and emergency procedures
